The Phoenix Cinema is a much-loved community cinema at the heart of East Finchley. It opened in 1912 as the East Finchley Picturedrome and now one of the oldest continuously-running cinemas in the UK. Its distinctive neon sign makes it easily recognisable and its characterful facade brings a real charm to the High Road.
This original piece was drawn using ink and pen on Bristol paper. It is mounted on a high float resting on a ‘snow white’ board to compliment the drawing. It is framed with a slim black wooden frame. The glass used in the frame is anti-reflective AR70 high clarity Artglass to both protect and preserve the drawing, and also ensure the highest quality visual experience with very little reflection or glare to distract the eye. The frame is included in the above price.
