Cheeses of Muswell Hill
This lovely little cheese shop is situated on Fortis Green Road in the Heart of Muswell Hill. Established in 1982, it is an award winning local favourite, known far and wide for its handpicked variety of cheeses. It has a very pretty curved window full of delights, a dream for any cheese-lover.
The detail and variety of shape and colour both inside and outside made this shop a real pleasure to draw. My challenge in this piece was to capture how the light falls on the different building surfaces from the red glossy tiles to the glass window to give depth and vibrancy to the drawing.
This original piece was drawn using ink and pen on Bristol paper. It is mounted on a high float resting on a ‘snow white’ board to compliment the Bristol paper. It is framed with a slim black wooden frame. The glass used in the frame is anti-reflective AR70 to both protect and preserve the drawing, and also ensure the highest quality visual experience with very little reflection or glare to distract the eye.
Paper size: W 40.7cm x H 56.8cm
Frame size: W 50.5cm x H 68cm
Please note that delivery is available to postcodes N2, N6 N8, N10, N11 and N22 only. Alternatively we can arrange collection from my Muswell Hill based Studio.
‘Cheeses of Muswell Hill’ original drawing will also be available to buy at Highgate Art Fair on 7th/8th and 9th November. Please contact for further information.
