This well-known and well-loved street in Muswell Hill has stunning views in both directions. St James Church sits proudly at the top and the steep curved road leads down to a beautiful old railway bridge at the bottom. I chose to draw this view to capture the church, the colourful Autumnal trees and the red brick houses - all things we love about Muswell Hill!
I used ink and pencil for this drawing to bring out the warm colours in the brick and stone and also the foliage which beautifully decorates this pretty street.
