This pretty Lane in Muswell Hill has stunning views in both directions. St James Church watches over this beautiful steep curved road which leads down to an old railway bridge at the bottom. I chose to draw this view to capture the church, the colourful Autumnal trees and the red brick Edwardian houses - all things we love about Muswell Hill!
I used ink and pencil for this drawing to bring out the warm colours in the brick and stone and also the greens and browns in the autumn trees which beautifully decorate this much-loved street.
