Primrose Hill has a wonderful character of its own with spectacular views across London. The summit is almost 63 metres above sea level and trees are kept low so as not to obscure the stunning view, enjoyed by so many from near and far. The top of the hill is one of the six protected viewpoints in London.
As well as its spectacular view, Primrose Hill also has quite a history. It was a place where duels were fought and prize fights took place. Mother Shipton also made threatening prophesies about what would happen if the city sprawl encroached on its boundaries.
It’s a truly magical place where the London skyline can be enjoyed from the calm of a beautiful hillside. My aim was to capture all of this, showing off the wonderful variation in colour of the trees and the spectacular shapes found in this stunning part of the London skyline.
