This drawing captures the stunning view of London from Alexandra Palace Terrace. This pretty little spot overlooks not only the beautiful London skyline but also the greens and browns and wonderful shapes of the incredible North London landscape stretching out as far as the eye can see.
My aim with this drawing was to capture a snapshot of life in this popular spot and also show off the intricate detail found on the railings and street lamps which decorate the front of the Palace so beautifully. This is a very typical scene with locals and visitors relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking vista on a bright sunny day.
