Highbury Square, Arsenal Stadium 1913 - 2006
This stunning building was the home of Arsenal Football Club for 93 years between 1913 and 2006. This drawing shows the protected Art Deco facade of the East Stand, drawn exactly as it is today. It has kept many of the original Art Deco features from when the East Stand was refashioned in the 1930s and Art Deco was at its peak.
During its renovation post Arsenal years, the North Bank and Clock End were demolished while the Grade II Listed buildings of the East and West Stands remained part of the development. It’s an incredible building with a rich history, known affectionately fans as the ‘Home of Football’ for many years. What a privilege to draw!
This is a landscape, unframed Giclee print of an ink and Winsor and Newton promarker drawing.
This drawing is printed on premium Hahnemühle photo rag paper (308gsm) made of 100% white cotton, providing a heavyweight, archival piece of art at an affordable price. Giclee prints are available in 4 sizes, *8”x 6”, A4 (210mm x 297mm), A3 (297mm x 420mm) and A2 (420mm x 594mm)
