Cheeses of Muswell Hill
This lovely little cheese shop is situated on Fortis Green Road in the Heart of Muswell Hill. Established in 1982, it is an award winning local favourite, known far and wide for its handpicked variety of cheeses. It has a very pretty curved window full of delights, a dream for any cheese-lover.
The detail and variety of shape and colour both inside and outside made this shop a real pleasure to draw. My challenge in this piece was to capture how the light falls on the different building surfaces from the red glossy tiles to the glass window to give depth and vibrancy to the drawing. I’m really happy with the final result.
